Distinguished Service Award Recipient

The Distinguished Service Award, DSA, may be awarded by each Scottish Rite Valley to a 32° member of the Valley who has shown exceptional and distinguished service to the Valley and has committed himself to always going the extra mile in providing assistance to the Valley in whatever is asked of him.

Frank R. Williams, 320, DSA

Brother Frank Williams became a Scottish Rite member of the Valley of Utica in April, 2013.

He expressed interest and became actively involved in the ritual work of the bodies, taking part in several degrees and offering assistance wherever needed.  In 2018 he was appointed Assistant Ritual Director of the Valley, a position he still serves in.

As a Senior DeMolay – he also volunteered to become an Advisor to Mohawk Valley Chapter of DeMolay.   

He served as Thrice Potent Master of the Lodge of Perfection and as Most Wise Master of the Chapter of Rose Croix. He is currently serving as 2nd Lt Commander of the Consistory.

The Valley of Utica is pleased to present the Distinguished Service Award “Blue Hat” to Frank Williams for his dedication and service to the Valley of Utica.
